Excellent tour! This is our 20th year to visit Cedar Key, and we learned lots of new things. Ryan is a wonderful source of information — he knows history, geography, geology, politics, and more, and he weaves that together with personal stories and interesting narratives. You learn history in some ways in a museum, in some ways from reading and researching, and in whole new ways from such a terrific tour. We spent a week in Cedar Key & loved our first tour so much we ended up doing every tour. Ryan is super nice & very knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful town. We've been visiting & exploring Cedar Key for over 15 years, and Ryan showed us places we'd missed, taught us facts we didn't know & shared stories we'd never heard. Ryan is an excellent tour guide. My wife and I were the only passengers on our tour of 7-2-25. He answered our many questions about how Cedar Key has recovered from the Sept. '24 hurricane, and what the future might hold for damaged or destroyed properties. He explained what areas were under city vs. county juridiction. We did the historic Cedar Key golf cart tour. Ryan was an incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eloquent tour guide. He won us over immediately with the golf cart having incredibly thick cushioned extra comfy seats (we could ride that thing all day it was so comfortable!). In a matter of two hours, we learned so much history and had a fantastic time making Ryan feel like a friend in such a short time. Make sure you book early in the day so you get the great sea breezes (June was our trip) which made for a beautiful experience. Thanks again!
